I enjoy learning new language and I’ve been studying Chinese off and on for about 6 years. I also think the best method for mastering a language is to watch lots of movies and try to understand everything they’re talking about.
When watching a Chinese movie, Pinyin subtitles are a must. Having a word-for-word direct translation line can also save time looking up words in a dictionary.
